Sofi Simeonis was born in Tbilisi, Georgia. She began her musical education at the Zakaria Paliashwili music high school "10-year school for the gifted" for piano, song interpretation and chamber music. At the age of seven, she performed with her hometown's symphony orchestra.
From 2008 to 2012 she studied piano, song interpretation, accompaniment and chamber music at the Vano Sarajishvili State Conservatory in Tbilisi in the classes of Prof. Svetlana Korsantia, Zira Kamushadze, Nana Leselidze, and 2012-2014 piano solo with Prof. Nino Tchirakadze and Revaz Tavadze.
2017 she has been studying at the Hochschule für Musik Detmold with Prof. Jacob Leuschner and Prof. Manuel Lange. Since 2021 she has been studying song interpretation at the Cologne University of Music and Dance with Prof. Ulrich Eisenlohr.
They received numerous master classes from Paul Badura- Skoda, Eliso Virsaladze, Aleqsander Toradze, Moritz Eggert, Jan Philip Schulze, Anne Le Bozec, Paulina Tukianen, Peter Nelson, Burkhard Kehring, Alfredo Perl, Alexander Korsantia, Ilja Scheps, Georg Friedrich Schenck, Paolo Giacometti musical impulses and inspiration for your musical career.
Sofi Simeonidis has won prizes at numerous piano and chamber music competitions and received scholarships from the Alexsandre Toradze, Elisabeth Leonskaja and György Cziffra Foundations.
She has visited appearances at various festivals, including the Steingraeber and Sons Piano Festival in Bayreuth, the Humperdinck Festtage in Siegburg, the Telavi International Music Festival in Georgia, the Youth Classics Festival in Switzerland and Germany, the György Cziffra Festival in France.
Her passion for music and literature follows her to song and poetry. In addition to classical and romantic works, she is particularly enthusiastic about the contemporary song repertoire.
